About Us
Our Story
Yayasan Paramarta was founded in 1999 by Pastor Anak Agung Sutedja in Denpasar Bali, and the aim of the Yayasan was to support the local young generations from unfortunate families, to get a proper education through the Scholarship Program.
But when Pastor Sutedja passed away in 2007, the Yayasan Paramarta was no longer able to support the Scholarship Program, so we needed to terminate the program due to limited funding.
Inspired by Mrs. Ester Sutedja and how she recovered from post-traumatic stress disorder (due to the unexpected death of a loved one), we initiated the 5 loaves & 2 fish Project in early 2008.
The purpose of this Project is to help people, especially the senior citizens who are experiencing similar situations such as depression and loneliness on their days. These wonderful people are also in need of a better place to stay since they cannot afford decent housing and usually live independently.
The proposal of the 5 loaves and 2 fish project began with some simple and genuine actions from well-meaning people.
We do believe that the act of simple kindness, no matter how small it is, can make a tremendous impact on someone else's life. We hope that others will feel compelled to replicate our well-intended work.
In order for our mission to be sustained and to continue the good work that we have started, we require a permanent location where we can coordinate our work.
Our short term plan is to purchase a piece of land to settle a permanent location to coordinate our work. Our future plan is to provide better housing for some of the senior citizens who really need it.
PLEASE HELP US,
Together we can make a difference, encouraged by your support and blessings, in order to create a brighter future for everyone…
